TUESDAY - THURSDAY:
MORNING / ENGAGE:
Eat breakfast at your lodging location, then your group will head straight to pre-assigned learning sites (Note, larger groups may be split to different locations). Site hosts will guide your group through a learning journey discovering how God is working through local ministries. Depending on your site you may meet with high level local ministry leaders (I.e., Executive Directors), hear testimonies from people served/impacted by local ministries, serve, and more! The goal is for students to see God at work and inspire them to consider how God may want to use them to build His kingdom.
AFTERNOON / PLAY:
After you are done at your ministry site, you'll have lunch wherever you decide! You can make a fast food run or brown bag it and find a local park to eat. After Lunch, all groups will gather for our afternoon options. The meeting location may vary from day to day, but plan on Arvada Covenant being the hub of fun. New experiences are planned for each afternoon. We'll highlight these on our social media channels so be sure to follow, like, and subscribe!
EVENING / WORSHIP:
Each evening dinner will be provided at the church, then nightly worship sessions and small group time to follow. Small group space will be available at ACC, or you can head to your lodging spot and discuss/debrief the day there.
Have a safe trip home!
The Engage planning team is monitoring local requirements in the counties where we will participate in various events, activities, and experiences. As we get closer to the time of the event the Engage planning team will communicate what may be required regarding masks. Please proactively add masks to your packing list so that everyone comes prepared.
Receiving a Covid vaccine IS NOT required to participate in Engage.
Please note that some learning sites we are partnering with have their own Covid protocols regarding masks and Covid vaccination. The Engage team is working to determine the best way to handle vaccine status information that is sensitive to participants. However, your group leader may need to know if group members are vaccinated so we send your group to the appropriate sites.
Please note this information is subject to change as the situation changes.
